Staying Healthy During COVID-19

Hey Friends! It’s me, Avery! Today I am so excited to share some tips with you about how to stay fit and active during Quarantine or Lockdown (Or during the Pandemic). These tips have worked very well for me during this Pandemic, so I decided to share some of them with you! So here they are:

  1. Eat a healthy breakfast that is full of protein. This ensures that you have a good start to the day, and after all, breakfast is the most important meal of the day! Two examples for a healthy, high protein breakfast are: Eggs (any type; scrambled, fried, boiled, whatever you prefer), Oatmeal with any kind of fruit in it; my favorite fruits to put in my oatmeal for breakfast are usually blueberries or bananas, but you can be creative with the fruits that you choose to put in your oatmeal!

  2. Do some sort of simple exercise in the morning. This will make you feel more productive, and it keeps you fit if you do it every morning. You can do any kind of workout, yoga, or stretching. I also find that the exercise feels more fun when I listen to some music while doing it!

  3. Stay Hydrated. Staying hydrated is so important. I usually try to drink around 3-4 liters of water a day. Drinking lots of water and staying hydrated has many benefits, such as significantly affecting energy levels and brain function, preventing headaches, and so many more things. Drinking enough water every day is very helpful in many ways.

  4. Go outside at least once a day. I try to go outside at least once a day to get some fresh air, go for a run, and spend time with my dog! This is just very helpful because you can go outside to enjoy nature, and you can do so many things like If you have any pets, you can spend time with them, you can go for a walk, jog, or run to get some exercise, and so many more things... Just be creative!

  5. Get Plenty of sleep. Getting plenty of sleep is so important because it has so many benefits. It helps you stay more energized, awake, and productive during the day, it prevents headaches and so many more things!! Sleep is very important in your daily routine. The amount of sleep you need depends on your age. Kids that are 6 to 12 years of age should sleep for 9 to 12 hours. Teenagers that are 13 to 18 years of age should sleep for 8 to 10 hours. Adults need 7 to 9 hours of sleep every night. The amount of sleep you need decreases with age, but most older people still need at least seven hours of sleep.

Well, that’s all I have for you today! I hope you guys enjoyed reading tips about how to stay healthy and fit during the Pandemic, and I also hope that you guys will try them out! I’ll see you guys in my next post!

-Avery
