Hey everyone! It’s Avery. In today’s post I’m going to be talking about the definition of a TCK. I looked it up on Google, and here is what I found: “Third culture kids (TCK) are individuals who are (or were as children) raised in a culture other than their parents' or the culture of their country of nationality, and also live in a different environment during a significant part of their child development years”. I agree with this definition because it is easy to understand. I know that you might not agree with that definition, and you might want to change some things about it, but in general, I think that it makes sense. If I were to explain what a TCK was to someone who had no idea what a TCK was, what I would say would be something like this: TCK is short for Third Culture Kid. They are kids who grew up in a different culture than their parents, or than where they lived before. These specific kids normally have experienced a lot more cultures than the average kid at that age. My answer would probably sound something like that if someone asked me that question. Thanks so much for reading today’s post! Make sure to look out for our new posts coming up! See you guys in my next post! Bye!
